This Christmas season has been so much fun this year because Nadia understands so much more and has been so interested in everything. We gave her the big gift from us Thanksgiving weekend because the weather has been so nice. It’s called “Picnic on the Patio” and she loves to go inside and “cook” for us.
On Christmas morning she had a great time opening presents and then spent most of the day in her Radio Flyer Sport Coupe from Papa and Grandma. She got books from Nonni and Poppi and she wanted to sit in the car and have them read to her. She wanted to eat and drink in there and I am sure that if we would let her find a way to sleep in there, she would. George rides shot gun on most days, but the “babies” do get to ride quite often.
We took a walk because the weather was so nice on Christmas day and Nadia enjoyed driving her car around the neighborhood.
Here she was 12 hours after waking up – still in the car 🙂
The end of the semester for music class is “Family Music Night” and I can sum it up in one word – MANIA!!! They invite all the students from every class and their families for one final musical celebration. They had a band and offered up musical instruments for all the kids to borrow. So as you can imagine, it was really loud!
In typical Nadia fashion she was analyzing the ballroom and all the activity and then she finally warmed up and started having fun.
Here are a few fun shots of the night.
Here are some friends – Brooke, Eli and Leon in the background. Tricia, Eliott and David closer in.
This year the blue outfit that we had made for Nadia in her province of Jiangxi fit so we decided to have her wear it for the Christmas card photos. Last year she was in the red outfit from Aunt Michelle (the one that amazingly matched the red one we had made in China) and it’s amazing how much she has changed and grown in the last year.
