I am thankful that now that I am a mom this is the kind of thing that I see in the morning.

Tahni and Joseph came to visit us on New Year’s Day and we had a great time. Joseph played the guitar for Nadia and she was hooked 🙂
All Tahni heard for 5 days straight was “play, play, read a book, read a book!” Tahni and I hit Micheal’s for some fun shopping and we just spent a lot of time watching movies and talking. And I tried some new recipes.

And Tahni has joined the “Jammie Crew”. Oh yeah, my influence is wide. Of course I saw hers and the first thing I said was, “I have those Jammies”. I actually have the version from last year (thanks Michelle) and Tahni got hers for Christmas. Same brand and everything. I love it!

Lulu and her family are from our travel group to China and they were in the Dallas area Christmas weekend so we met up at Grapevine Mills. The girls got a chance to ride the carousel and the parents got a chance to visit. I love that we are trying to keep the girls in contact since we shared such a special time of our lives together.

Here they are with the Mommies.

And now the Daddies.

Christmas was spread out over a week and Nadia had lots of fun. Joy and Janis came over and gave her the Busy Bee Band. It came with a xylophone, tambourine, drumsticks, shaker and more. They also gave her some Crayola kids music CD’s.

The day after Christmas a box came from Aunt Sharon, Grandma Linda and the rest of the MO crew. It’s like a little people explosion here at the house and Nadia loves it. She got the Nativity scene, airplane and boat. And the boat really floats in the bath which Nadia thinks is great.
In this photo she was going, “Vroom, vroom. Don’t crash!!!!!”
