Dinner time conversation

At dinner recently Nadia took one bite of her food, then a second bite and said,

“What the heck?? This is good.”

I laughed out loud!! It’s like she was shocked her food tasted good.

P.S. I have not heard her use the phrase “what the heck?” before or since.

“Look…..”

Last night when I was rocking Nadia she put her hands up and was looking at me through the opening between them and said, “Look how little my hands are!” I thought it was so cute that she put that sentence together so I had her pose for a photo today doing the same thing.

"Look how little my hands are!"

Heard from our Congressman

Our congressman’s office sent a letter about the child product safety bill. I will sum it up by saying that he agreed that the “intent” of the bill was to protect children and through monitoring the sale of children’s products. But that clearly the bill wasn’t well thought out or written in regards to resellers. He says that the bill is being resubmitted to one of the committees that he sits on to be re-worded. And that changes will be made before anything goes into effect.  Awesome!

Ready Baby Jesus?

This morning Nadia was playing with her Little People airplane. At one point she got the baby Jesus from the Little People Nativity scene and put him in the pilot’s seat.

Then she said, “Ready Baby Jesus? Ready?”

Then she started making ‘zoom varoom’ sounds and flew Jesus around the living room in the airplane. Awesome.
