I am thankful for the work of World Vision around the globe and for their mission to make a better world for children.

This book is by the President of World Vision US and it’s wonderful. I recommend it to anyone and on that note, I am going to give a copy away. If you don’t live near us, we will have it shipped to your house – it’s that good!

Rules: make a comment on this post letting me know that you want toΒ  be entered to win. You have until October 18th at midnight to enter. I will report back on the 19th with the winner.

*Based on Ruth Ann’s post I am including the link to Amazon here. I didn’t want to say too much about the book, but just in case you are curious.

The Rainbow Fish

*First I want to say that I have heard the requests for some new photos of Nadia and that will be in my next post πŸ™‚

Today Miss Hanna read us “The Rainbow Fish” in art class. The mommies job was to cut out the tail and the face piece and let the kids do the rest. I had to help Nadia with the glue so it didn’t go everywhere, but she did a great job tearing. I also love her “bling” scales that she worked so hard to place very carefully. Enjoy!

Wocket…

Today we had art class again and the story for this week was “A Wocket in my Pocket” by Dr. Suess. Here is the wocket that Nadia made πŸ™‚

I included the second photo so you could see the detail she did on it’s body. Notice the earrings, even Wockets need a little bling.
