After being out of town last week and spending this week catching up I decided to combine 3 & 4.
Nadia pretending to be a mannequin.

Alyssa and Nadia at the science museum. Alyssa and her parents were visiting.

This was in front of the hotel in San Diego.

In Tijuana shortly after we crossed the border.

View from the World Vision community center.

A stocked medical clinic. This is an amazing thing in other countries of the world.

Tiffany cracking me up on the last day of the conference.

One of the area managers sent this home for Nadia. She took one look at it, told me it said, “Frosty the Snowman” and that it was a mask. I didn’t correct her 😉

Nadia and I blending paint to make new colors. She thought this was awesome.

Randy and Jessica came to visit for the annual company Christmas party at the beginning of December. Randy went to work and Jess and I consumed large amounts of delicious food. We introduced them both to “La Playa Maya” and Randy is totally hooked. This was the first visit in a long time where we didn’t make a muffin or cupcake out of the Taste of Home Magazine, but we just ran out of time. I am so happy to have spent 3 days with Jessica.

At the Cheesecake Factory with Laura

The party was at Ripley’s Believe it or Not/Palace of Wax. We had a great time and the COOLEST thing there is the Mirror maze. Mike and I won one of the raffle prizes and some of the other staff were joking that I couldn’t come to the party anymore because I always win 😉

I am sure many of you are as heartbroken over what has occurred in Haiti and the overwhelming loss of life as we are. If you haven’t given and you want to I encourage you to donate with World Vision. They have nearly 400 staff on the ground working already to get aid to the people. WV has been working in Haiti for 30 years and is the world’s largest Non Governmental Organization (NGO) I was on a conference call last night and heard that all of the Area Development Projects that they work in are safe and the children are safe because they are in the rural area.
It’s estimated that 1/3 of the populalation needs aid. And so many have died that it’s horrifying, but those who have survived need water, food and basic medical supplies.
If you want to give call 1-800-777-5777 or go to worldvision.org
You can make a difference!
