A couple weeks ago Aunt Paula, Grammie and I headed to College Station for Tahni’s Bridal Shower. It was so much fun! Her best friend Ally put it on and their friends from church opened up their home to us. Ally had come up with some creative games and the food was Greek themed because Joseph proposed to Tahni there in Septemeber.

And here is the laughing photo that Tahni and I get almost every time we are together.

Today I am thankful for where we live. This week we have been to the Zoo (which is 1 of the top 5 in America) and the Botanical Gardens (which is free).
Plus Nadia got in one of the last open spots for her age group for Museum School for the next school year.
I am so grateful for all the great museums and other awesome family things available in our area. We are blessed.
Click the photo above to see all the photos I took with my new camera. All I have to say is check out that “zoom, zoom, zoom”
We are so excited to have the Peterman’s here with us on their road trip to/through Texas. We headed to the zoo and the weather was glorious and it wasn’t crowded at all. The big excitement was to see the zoo’s new exhibit MOLA! And it was totally awesome and much better than the old herpetarium. Nadia even touched a snake! (after mommy did first)

The next 3 photos are so cute!

Lemurs crack me up!

And look at this awesome shot of the lion with my new zooooooom lens.

Nadia is like a tour guide here.

It was a wonderful day and the girls were exhausted by the time we got home. So they had a nap and then played outside until dinner was ready. Nadia loves having Abby and Evie here to play with.
That night Jessica and I made one of the cupcakes out of our cookbook since that is tradition when we are together. This time we made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip with Cream Cheese icing 🙂
