Our Family Blog – Mike, Louanne, Nadia, Amelie, & Dani
Do you love books?
Nadia told me, “I don’t NEED a nap at quiet time!” Then I snapped this photo while making dinner – she fell asleep sitting up.

Papa and Grandma Brooke came to town for the Child Study Center “Party on the Patio”. The night before they came over to play with the girls and have dinner. The first thing the girls wanted to do was have them come and check out the playset!

After a good amount of play they came inside for dinner. After dinner Grandma Brooke read Amelie a book about Lemurs 872 times and this was the end result.

Cute!

Thanks for coming by to visit and for inviting Mike and I to the fundraiser the following night.

One day I noticed the groupon was for a Young Chef’s class and thought about buying it for Nadia since she loved it so much last time. But then I forgot about it and went on with the day. Later I got a text from my friend Tricia asking if I saw it and if I wanted to get one too so that her son Elliott and Nadia could go together. Sure thing! So we worked it out for them to go in April and here are some of the photos.
Amelie had a lot more fun this time since her friend Jude was there to play. I didn’t have all the “My turn cook?” questions because she was distracted.

There were several more kids this time and the chefs did well with all the chaos.

Nadia was the first one to “hide the lime” while waiting on the Angel Food Croutons to bake.

Tasting the food. Neither Nadia or Elliott liked the lime fruit salad, but they did like the angel food cake croutons.

Jude, Elliott, Nadia, AmelieĀ (they were moving targets so this was the best one)

On the way out Elliott said, “Look it’s Nadia cooking!” I cracked up and had to get a photo – Nadia thought is was great! (oh how I wished I had put in her usual 2 ponies!)

And when we got home the girls found these from Aunt Sharon. SO COOL!
