I am sort of a blog stalker, but a post on the ABS site caught my eye and lead me here. I also have an adopted daughter (India) with ABS who had hands that look similar to your precious beauty. All of her fingers have now been separated at Seattle Children’s, and although they are not full length, they get the job done! We chose to leave her toes as is, because her doctor feels to separate them would be more cosmetic than anything. (I’ve had foot surgery and wouldn’t wish that on anyone which also influenced our decision). She also was born with club feet that we’ve had treated and hope to give up her corrective shoes at this Monday’s 4 year old appointment. It is rather ironic that I should pull up your blog on a “Duck” post, as we vacationed there frequently when we lived on the East coast in the late 80s. I love Duck, though I am certain I would love it more now with Duck Donuts!!!

All the best,
Julie – http://www.bornofindia.blogspot.com
