We also finalized our adoption in Nanchang– although we were the ONLY family there and they had to turn on the lights for us! What a difference, huh. 🙂

What an amazing testament of God’s sovereignty and faithfulness! I had forgotten how tiny Nadia was when you guys got her and now look at her! I didn’t know until you picked Nadia up at our house today that today was “Gotcha Day”…you should know that at lunch she, unprompted, looked at me and with a smile on her face said “God is here!” I nodded, yes, and she said “God is everywhere!” Then she, Elliott, and I talked about all of the wonderful things God made, including her! It blows my mind that the little baby in that video who could barely hold her head up because she was so developmentally behind is the same sweet, smart 3 year-old who sat at my breakfast table today with me chatting about our God!! Praise God for Nadia, and for bringing her to you! Thanks for sharing this today, Louanne.
