I love how this bill quietly passed too! Why is it that things like this aren’t better known to the masses so we can help prevent their passage?

I am one of those garage saling moms as well as a person who holds garage sales so this is very disturbing. I am alss saddened for all of the small businesses that will suffer as a result, as if an econonmic downturn isn’t bad enough, let’s throw some more regulation to really put a nail in their coffin.

There is NO way they will be able to pay for that sort of testing. Sheesh. It might make sense to have barrettes and hair clips tested by the manufacturer not the bow maker who uses them to make custom bows. And fabric items, like dresses? How are people who sew custom clothing items supposed to afford testing? Besides which it seems ridiculous to need to test fabric in the first place. And you are so right about living in the nanny state.
