Looks like an amazing place. Our daughter has two thumbs on her left hand and we’re still waiting to see a specialist here in Canada. Our app’t is in May. Sigh. However, we’re told they typically don’t surgery until they are two. She’s 13 months right now but I’d like to know what we’re up against — at least have an x-ray. I’m really interested in following your daughter’s progress and see what the Doctor’s will be able to do for Amalie. Sure wish we could go to the Scottish Rite Hospital!

First of all what a beautiful girl she is! I love the addition to the family picture! She is at the best place for her surgeries and I told Grandpa Petlow thanks to all the Scottich Rite & Shriners across the world. Their work really do help all out…who knew someday our family would need them. It is indeed a blessing! xoxo

Wow! So glad to hear that everything went so well. Amelie is in good hands for sure. We will be praying for the doctors’ and nurses’ continued wisdom and for her surgeries/recoveries. What a blessing to have a place like Scottish Rite so close to home!

Wow, what an amazing place! Looks like Amelie did really well with all the “poking and prodding”. What a blessing to have such a top notch hospital so close to home.

wow, i am amazed with what she can do with her hands as well. it’s cool to see how people adapt. and what a blessing the scottish rite hospital, i can’t get over it! i’m excited to follow this journey, and to meet her soon i hope!

What an amazing hospital! Who knew!? Looks like they genuinely care about the children (and not insurance) what a blessing. Good news about Miss Amelia! Every Amniotic banding kiddo I have met – SHEER resilience. Amazing fighters..I can tell, she’s gonna do great things 🙂

Her smile is already evolving!

How is Nadia handling everything? Is she in Pre-K?
