I do not smell of smoke! Hehe. Although I usually don’t frequent the local Vegas places which smell bad! I only smell bad when ppl come to town and drag me to those places!

I do remember those smells in China. Remember the place across from the White Swan with the buckets of ‘food’? I held my breath every time I walked through that place!

Glad the smells aren’t getting to you too much Louanne. My favourite way to describe the smell of Nanchang to people was ‘funky’. Very Chinese, very unique!

We walked by several places in Chongqing that were set up for cooking on the sidewalks. One had pig snout and pig tails. Yummy! We didn’t eat there. LOL

Guangzhou had durian in the fruit stands and that is not a good smell. The description of durian in Wikipedia is pretty funny.

Glad to know you are doing better this time. I am really glad you are enjoying the food, we found some of the best places to eat in China and would love to go back some day.
