I have been praying that you will ENJOY this time to the fullest.

The crying is just a release of emotions…….women sometimes cry during and after childbirth….your family is being birthed!!!! So CRY ON!!!

Love you guys!

Tell her the emotions she is feeling are normal. I cried many times on the plane from Chicago to Hong Kong. I think I cried daily, actually. It’s such an overwhelming journey and losing your luggage along the way just makes it so much worse. So glad that’s been resolved. And tell her she will cry so much just from joy when that baby is finally in her arms. And then the next day when she just stares at the baby and cannot believe she’s real and there and so beautiful. She will think there are no tears left!

I hope Mr Guo is in a better mood when you meet him on Gotcha Day. He was really rushed on our Gotcha Day and I wasn’t able to make a connection with him or the nanny.

I cannot wait to read updates on Nanchang. I hope you like it there. We really did. It’s not for everyone, keep that in mind. I hope you two can see the beauty that does exist there. The people, the children, the FOOD! The crazy crazy drivers. Enjoy crossing your first Nanchang street!

And don’t forget to say it correctly- “Nan-Chung.” Say it that way when you talk to locals and they will be impressed. The locals always laugh at how Americans say Nan-CHANG. All nasal and drawn out, Texas Style. Hah!

Post often. I’m glued to the blog!!

Ok–the bags are nice looking, but will be nothing compared to Nadia 🙂 Ken says “Hi”…we will continue to pray. ps–I feel a little responsible for the lost baggage–I’ve been praying for you guys and Nadia and I didn’t include the bags…duly added to the prayer request.
Much love,
Karen, Ken, David & Stephen

The picture of the luggage is OK so you will be fine.

I’m so glad you got your luggage. That would have been so frustrating if you’d lost everything after all of your planning.

I’m counting the days until you get your babe.

Linda
