I don’t know if there’s anything that can top Nadia’s gotcha day video. We’ll see.

Blessings to you—you’re probably there as I write this.

The excitement is so thick you can cut it! We are waiting impatiently for the next post! What a great trip you’ve had so far – Nadia is going to have a great deal to tell her little sister about this trip and you are documenting it so well.

Hugs and prayers for tomorrow!

I am so excited for you to meet Amelie. I know the feeling about being stared at and traffic stopping. When Catherine and I went to Gansu last June, the traffic literally stopped when we would cross the street (even when the lights were green). So many people stared at us and pointed especially because Catherine looked like the locals. When we were stopped and spoken to they were shocked when Catherine would tell them that she was Canadian (in Mandarin) and that I was her mother. Eventually we just started explaining that DH is chinese and that took care of things.

It can be a little unnerving, but people mean well when they ask. Not everyone knows about IA. But when they understand or hear about it they are always supportive.

Congrats again. I am looking forward to hearing/seeing your meeting with Amelie.

Take care. CTG
