Yes, I remember that culture shock (reverse) from all three of my long long trips to Asia – but I think esecially after living in Japan. As much as I love Asia, little things that occur there always make me realize that there are many things that I love about the U.S. I think I just love having my comfort things that I am used to. How funny that Nadia was manic for her toys. And yes, what is up with the corn at McD’s? That is so the last thing I want when I am there – LOL. Speaking of potty-trained, I am still amazed at Charlotte’s friend Amelia from China being completely potty trained – and although she is older than Charlotte by a few months, she is smaller. So weird to see her little butt in pants with no bulky diaper! So glads to hear that Nadia is a good traveler. Charlotte was on the way home, and if we go to Hong Kong in 2009 or 2010 (the current plan), then I guess we will find out for sure! I am happy to see your comments in my blog again 🙂 And so jealous that Nadia can wear her summer clothes. I had Charlotte try on her shorts last night. She completely freaked out and did not like them. Must get her used to them…

I bet you will have some cultural shock, but when you lie down in your own bed tomorrow night you will fell an ‘ah ‘ moment…As much as you love China (and I know you do!!!); there really is no place like home (as corny as that sounds..I know)…LOL…Have a great flight home…Miss N is the height of cuteness!!
