The cake is beautiful! Just like the ones I make (ha,ha!).
The bus ride reminds me of the ones in San Francisco with Michelle. Mmmm- seems like Michelle’s dancing lessons paid off….

The dinner sounds yummy, but the pork & monkey head mushroom
soup (?)sounds like something Dad would whip up out of those thousand cookbooks of his!

Fun stories & great memories for you guys!!!
Love,

Mom xxxooo

We rode the bus in Hong Kong but not in China. It was not the same. I can picture the scene very well of the lady telling Mike to sit down and then get up. LOL I am glad you are having such a good time and we are looking forward to the day when we got back.

Your evening sounds fun. I’m eating Pei Wei leftovers (not real Chinese, I’m guessing) before heading down to a beautiful place on Hulen Bend for a special service.

They teach you such useless words and phrases. Like, who really cares that I have a red bicycle? (Which, for the record, I don’t!) And when I was learning Cantonese, I did have a good course that did conversational bits, but then that doesn’t do much good when I want to chat with my relatives. I can say, “this shirt is pretty and cheap” and “turn right” (or maybe turn left???). But I can’t say, “OMG, you’ll never believe what ____ did!” Food, though, is the universal language. 🙂

You need to post some video of Nadia dancing!
