It is 4:22 am in West Virginia. I know, I never sleep! I can’t wait to see you guys and the newest addition to our family. Kim suggested that you ask if you could bring back a baby for us? It couldn’t hurt to ask.

Dearest Louanne and Mike:
What a day today will be…the first time that you get to see “eye-ball to eye-ball” this precious gift from the Lord.

You are starting such an exciting journey for you as a family, and at one level (a really personal one) the beginning of so many firsts. Although you have loved Nadia in her picture (ok, let’s clarify that–the MULTITUDE of flics that you have carried around 🙂 ), today will be so different. I am so excited for you both–you are forever her parents!!

Of course the largest prayer is that Nadia will never remember a day that she didn’t trust the Lord Jesus as her Savior, but also that she will be a blessing to others as she is a blessing to her parents. (We have consistently prayed that prayer for our boys…ok–we live in hope for an answer to that prayer on some days 🙂 🙂 ) Thank you so much for sharing this joy with all of us back home…

I am hoping pictures will be up on the website in time for my morning coffee 🙂

Sounds like a trip thus far! Glad you are so close to meeting your sweet little one. I can’t wait to see the pictures. I also look forward to hearing about the hotel in Jiangxi as we will be following in your footsteps in a couple of months.
