We started New Years by heading to the Science and History museum and seeing the remodel of the dinosaur area. It is really cool!

The girls had a rest in the afternoon to prepare for the New Years Eve party we were going to.

Christmas Day 2016 was a sweet day. The girls got up and they got to open their stockings and then we ate breakfast and they finished opening their presents. For lunch we had Grandma Linda over from the nursing home. Then they played and played and played the evening away.

The 10th doctor in the Tardis was my gift.

They love to craft and Dani got some really cool tempura paint sticks that dry like watercolors. It was a wonderful Christmas season.

Gingerbread Houses!

Melissa and Charlotte invited us over to make gingerbread houses and we had so much fun!!! There was so much candy and a lot went into the girls and our bellies. HA!

Ornaments

This year I decided it would be fun for the girls to paint their own ornaments for the tree so early in December we headed to Van Grow to paint. Below shows the finished product after they were fired and we picked them up 2 weeks later.

Then later in the day we decorated the inside and outside tree which is always fun.

PJ Polar Express 2016

In December we once again went to see “The Polar Express” at the Science and History Museum in our PJ’s. The girls enjoy doing the experiments before the show and getting their golden ticket from the conductor.

Ladies Luncheon

At the beginning of December the ladies of my church put on the most beautiful luncheon. Each table was decorated by a different woman and they were totally amazing. Here are a few photos.

The meal was wonderful and Rebecca gave a very encouraging talk on Christmas expectations. Later that night, the whole family went to see the Santa Claus musical at Casa Manana.

Fun visit – November 2016

Kathy and Rieley came to visit us at the beginning of November and we had such a great time. We ate A LOT of tasty food as a priority. We also went to the Science and History museum where we checked out the exhibits and saw the IMAX about Sharks.

One last goodbye hug before they headed home and we headed for co-op (can you see Dani’s little bow in the middle?). Thanks for coming to see us!!

CPAC 20th anniversary

At the beginning of November, CPAC celebrated it’s 20th anniversary with a big show. Some returning members where there and Amelie was very excited to take part. Papa and Grandma Brooke, Roger and Paula and some friends from taekwondo all came out to see her. She looks so cute!

The next morning Papa and Grandma Brooke came over for WAFFLEMANIA before they headed home to Houston.

Amelie had fun doing Grandma Brooke’s hair. It was a nice visit.
