As our road trip continued we drove from West Virgina to Mount Joy, PA. We hadn’t seen the Hameloth’s since we were with them in the Outer Banks last year. We had also never been to see the Dutch Country in PA. We had lunch and the girls played and played and played. Then they giggled and played some more.
After snow cones and a lot more play time we headed to Lititz to find the carriage house we had rented and it was so cute!!!
We had plenty of space and even a little kitchen.
We had dinner at a wonderful little place called the Tomato Pie Cafe. Everything on the menu was a little different and unique and I loved it! I got their signature item the Tomato Pie and I don’t know why I haven’t had something like it before. Delish! Mike ended up with the best meal that we all had a taste of – some kind of Chicken Pesto sandwich. We also tried a couple of their soups and I took the most gigantic macaroon I have ever seen with me in a to-go box. I should have taken a photo, but I ate it instead 🙂
The girls wanted some dessert too, so we decided to try this place – Grecos. We tried 3 different flavors in all different types of cones. They were all great! I was so glad we listened to friends and stay in the little hipster town of Lititz.
