Here are some assorted photos from May 2016.

The girls had as many meals as possible outside in May.

For Mother’s Day we drove home from Kelly’s wedding and then for dinner we tried a new place that was amazing. They had extra tables set up in the parking lot and we took one of those because it was a 45 minute wait for inside. The girls loved the table directons and fancy flashing LED lights going on. Then once we paid it started to storm like crazy so we headed home with no family photo.

Dani learning to swim

We enrolled Dani in Aqua Tots back in April because we knew that she was ready to learn to swim.  I knew she was ready from watching the big girls for almost 2 years and she takes showers and the water doesn’t bother her at all. They were amazed from day one because she put her face right in the water and wasn’t afraid. She did so well from the beginning that she moved from the first level to the second in 7 lessons.

Expedition Earth – Italy Volcano

During our Expedition Earth study of Italy, the science part was on Volcanoes. We watched a lot videos, looked at books and learned cool (and sometimes scary) facts. I found a quick and easy make your own volcano craft on Pinterest. The girls each made their own and had a lot of fun. Once we dumped the vinegar in they were giggling like wild.
