Once the MOPS conference was over we needed to pack up the World Vision Micro booth. It was an adventure trying to get the carpet tape off the booth floor so they wouldn’t charge a fee. Afterwards I took the girls over to the Hard Eight BBQ for a late lunch. They declared it a real Texas experience, especially because stuffed Mountain Lions and Bobcats were watching them eat. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready for the Mom Prom.
I had to have a photo with the Gold Cowboy at the Gaylord Texan.
We had a couple of fun photo ops before the dinner and concert by Plumb.
It was so hard not to laugh while pretending to be Charlie’s Angels.
This was our “Awkward Family Photo” shot. Notice I couldn’t keep from smiling and sort of ruined it.
Tiffany and I.
It was a wonderful day spent with the ladies from World Vision. Tiffany and I hadn’t seen each other in almost two years and we had a great time as always. It was such a fun “ladies day” and we all laughed a lot! Tiffany flew out late the next day so she spent the day with us and we took her to lunch at La Playa Maya. The girls absolutely LOVED her!
