Since we were in PA so close to Hershey, we decided to go spend one day at the park. Lynnea gave us the scoop on getting tickets with a Boy Scout discount and we saved a lot. WOOT! We started out by going on the Hershey’s Chocolate World tour. It was very cute and the best part was how good it smelled.
Nadia was instantly in love with Hershey the mascot. We had a great day at the park. Most of it was spent watching the girls ride all the kiddie type rides. It was fun to watch them having so much fun laughing and Mike got a bunch of wonderful photos.
The girls went on this kids sized pirate ship and loved it, so we went on the big one and Amelie thought it was even better. She asked to go again, but we were running out of time.
The always important Cotton Candy break.
Action shot captured by Mike. This ride was so fast which Amelie and I thought was awesome, but Nadia declared too fast. We all rode the SuperDooperLooper which was really fun. After that Amelie wanted to ride another coaster, but Nadia wanted to skip it. So Amelie and I went on the Comet which she said was “too bumpy” and that she liked the “spinney one better.” Amelie is our little adrenaline junkie and was SO HAPPY to ride some of the big coasters. Nadia thought the Tilt a Whirl was her favorite ride of the day. Amelie liked the roller coasters.
The girls did great and we left at dinner time because they had reached their limit. We met Lynnea, Steve, Lena and Josie for a dinner date. We had such a fun time and the food was AMAZING at Piazza Sorrento. I decided that their Penne al Vodka was the best I have ever tried and it’s what I try at all Italian restaurants we visit. I say again, AMAZING.
These happy girls giggled and giggled through dinner. It was precious.
