I have many great photos of China travel group reunions and other visits with China friends, but this one made me smile today thinking of how much fun the girls had at the beach last year.

I am so thankful for all the amazing people we have met and friends we have made through the adoption community. It’s impossible to imagine my life now without the friends I have made on this journey and it never would have happened if we hadn’t adopted from China. I am so thankful for their love, support and friendship.

• For friends – too many to list, but I love you guys!
• For how well Nadia is doing in Chinese school. We just signed her up for the spring semester. Her new thing is to give me tests to see what I know. So far I am doing well on colors and fruit.
• For all our fun family Christmas traditions.
• For delicious treats.
• For the fellow staff members at church.
• For pumpkin pie from Costco.
• For the “Truth in Tinsel” advent devotions I am doing with the girls.

• For our WONDERFUL trip to California
• For the early Christmas we had with the entire Santa Barbara crew (plus Michelle and Jared who drove in)
• For my mom arranging for us to be in the Santa Barbara city parade. The girls loved waving to the crowds and yelling “Viva La Fiesta!”
• For what great travelers our girls are
• For the fantastic 2 days we had at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure
• For being able to see my friend Staci and her family for a quick game of bowling for the kids
• For being able to ride our favorite rides multiple times since we went in the off season
• For our girls getting a chance to play with their 2nd cousins on the trip
• For safety in all our travels

• For my totally awesome husband who dresses up for Halloween and wears his jammies to the Polar Express PJ party for his girls!
• Thankful that he is so involved in creating great, fun memories for them.
