This is one day late because we were celebrating Amelie’s 4th birthday yesterday, but I am thankful for her 3 new beautiful fingers. The doctors and staff at Scottish Rite are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Thankful Thursday
- We are thankful that Scottish Rite had a cancellation for tomorrow morning and Amelie will be having surgery on her right hand. They are going to attempt to create three more fingers on that hand with the bones that are in there. If there had not been a cancellation, we would have had to wait until the fall when it’s not so hot.
- We are so very thankful for our friends and family and their love for us.
- For all the people who offered to babysit Nadia for us tomorrow. This is all so last minute and it’s a great relief to know she will be having fun with friends.
- For all the prayers being offered for Amelie’s safety and success tomorrow.
- For having the incredible surgeons at Scottish Rite so close to our house! It’s amazing.
Thankful Thursday
- For street tacos at Alvardo’s. I know that is random, but I really love their carnitas and barbacoa tacos.
- For all the cool things we have to do in the DFW area. From educational to just plain fun, I love living in this area.
- For how excited my girls get to see the bluebonnets all over the place.
- For having a heater and A/C. Especially when it’s 80 one day and 39 the next.
- For cookie bouquets.
