Nadia did a great job on her purple belt test. She had some good fights and Master Valdez had her and Chogul have a “Nadia face” contest.

Charlotte’s mom Melissa invited us over for an Olympics cookie decorating party in August. She had a massively fun cookie set up with so much candy. She had flags on the table for reference and the girls jumped right in to make their designs. We also had lunch together and the girls had a fun time swimming and playing.
We had such a fun time and I was just so excited to find another mom with so great a love of candy and the Olympics! Thanks for hosting us!
The last camp that Amelie did this summer was the CPAC Disney camp. The highlight for her was performing at the Palace Theatre in Grapevine and it was a very cute show. Amelie loved going to camp again and being with all the CPAC people.
Nadia’s friend Maddie and her grandparents came to the show to support Amelie which was so sweet.
The week after China Camp we had multiple camps planned. The big girls went to an Art Camp at the Sid Richardson Museum downtown while Dani went to zoo camp.
The fountains downtown.
I took all the big girls out for donuts before art camp one morning.
On the last day of camp the girls showed us around the museum as our docents.
Mrs. Kunkel from church teaches drawing to Nadia and she joined us for the last day.

The big surprise for the girls was a Kindle tablet for each of them for our big DC road trip.
