End of December 2015

We took Nadia to see “The Force Awakens” and she loved it!

The girls helped me make candy for the 80 employees at the nursing home where Grandma Linda lives. It was A LOT!

Amelie has her own style and it rocks!

We made this for my mom for her birthday.

Dani and her puppy she named Huggie.

Dani said, “I wrote a song, listen. I had no mom. I had no dad. I had no sisters. Now I had a mom, now I had a dad, now I had sisters. Now  you sing, here paper to sing song I wrote!”

December 26th and 27th, 2015

The two days following Christmas were filled with playing and relaxing together at home. We didn’t do a gingerbread house before Christmas, so the girls did one after.

Kinetic sand, beads and Minecraft Legos.

Amelie got a Hello Kitty Makeup kit and this was her first attempt.

And there was an unbelievable hail storm that lasted two minutes. Later that night a horrific tornado hit on the east side of DFW and destroyed over 1000 homes and killed 13 people. It was a freaky and sad weather day for our area.

First half of December 2015

Frozen yogurt with Grammie.

We gave away the highchair and this is Dani’s first meal in a booster seat.

They built a snowman and had lunch outside several days because it was a very warm December.

Trip to the Duck Pond

My Mom’s Group Christmas party

We surprised the girls with a trip to see “The Peanuts” movie

Lunch with Grammie

Amelie lost her 3rd tooth and was so excited!

Prairie Lights 2015

The night after the Polar Express we headed for another of our traditions which is to go to Prairie Lights. The weather was supposed to be amazing and with the flooding in the area they were offering a discount and free souvenirs because the route had to be shortened. Dani was much more excited and animated about everything this year compared to last year.

These girls are love each other so much!

We called this the low rent Dumbo ride.

We had a great time like we always do at Prairie Lights including eating funnel cakes and cotton candy. The best part this year was that we didn’t need jackets, hats or gloves because the weather was so mild.
