Taekwondo Banquet

At the end of January we got a sitter for the little sisters and took Nadia to her Taekwondo banquet. She was excited to be with her friends and see everyone get their awards. She got a 6th place medal for her points in the 2015 tournament cycle. She was excited to get anything because she only went to three in her first year.

After giving the medal to Nadia, Master Valdez told her to give the room the “Nadia Face.” There were over 200 people there and she went for it and it was so cute.

Baby Shower for Tricia

A few friends and I threw a baby shower for our sweet friend Tricia who was having her 4th child, but first girl! We thought it would be fun to have a pink shower to show our excitement. My friend Katie hosted it and the rest of us made the food. It was a really nice time and I was happy that so many people could join in the celebration.

Then at the end of the month she got to meet Hattie Kate and hold her. So sweet!

Gwen visits and New Years Eve

Our niece Gwen wanted to come for a quick visit and we said, “Come on down!” She joined us for 2 nights and we had such a fun time. The girls love the chance to see their cousins and they did a lot of playing. We had 2nd Christmas with her. We also ate a lot of tasty food that Gwen can only get down here like Whataburger. While she was here Gwen taught Nadia to crochet and Amelie how to put on the makeup she got for Christmas. It was a wonderful, quick visit to end the year!
