I am praising God and so thankful for the following email that came in tonight!! I cried tears of joy when Mike read this email to me.
This morning, the tube down Cynthia’s throat was removed and she was offered ice on which to chew. She asked for Adrian…and has shown slight noticeable improvement since.
Cynthia softly asked, “What happened to me?” “Where is my purse?” “How is Jaida (her Kids Hope kid) ?”
She greeted Marilyn and me with a smile and a raised arm. She tried to sing the Doxology with Darwin and Kaye. She smiled at John Weiser’s suggestion that the worship bulletin needed to be finished tomorrow.
These things indicate that she has a growing awareness of her surroundings. I have no medical information to provide.
From tomorrow, a family member will stay with Cynthia in her room during the day, and a FWPC person will be enlisted to pass each night in her room’s recliner, so that the family can be adequately rested.
We serve a great God.
Alan
