Since the very first time we went to the Grossology exhibit at the Science and History museum, Nadia has been dying for Mike to come. We went with a few other people, but hadn’t had a chance to go with him until this week. Nadia was counting down the days and every time she mentioned it Amelie would pipe in with “See the booger guy!” (FYI – you can learn the difference between snot and a booger at Grossology).
Daddy and girls trying to make the vomit machine work.
Amelie pretending to play on the computer and the girls shooting allergens into the big nose to make it sneeze. The girls climbed the “skin” climbing wall, played on the body part slide and more while we tried to read the gross little factoids.
After Grossology we went over to the RISK exhibit and the girls laid on the bed of nails. It was very cool and Nadia said it tickled when the nails lifted you up. There was a lot of interesting reading in there, but it wasn’t so exciting for the kids so we didn’t stay long.
The girls in firefighter gear that swallowed them up. The exhibit also had flack jackets and other gear for risky professions.
