- For SNOW!!! On Wednesday night we got 4″ and so the girls woke up to a fun wonderland of fluffy snow instead of ice like the week before.
- For how well Dani has healed. She is basically back to normal and so happy to have permission to run and jump again.
- For how well my co-op kids have been doing this year. We are nearing the end of our school year and their art has improved so much.
Thank You Gifts
Mike wanted to make thank you gifts for the surgeons and their awesome nurse/coordinator Emily. We loved the ornament he made for Dani’s 1st Christmas and so he decided to make them a desk version. I think they turned out amazing!
Before Mike attached them to the bases.
Before Mike sprayed the varnish and attached the ladybug felt bases.
Just perfect!
First 2 weeks of February 2015
Photos from the beginning of February. Most of my time and concentration was spent trying to keep Dani busy and not hurting her very fragile femur! Nadia and Amelie were a great help with this and I am so thankful for how much they look out for Dani.
My mentor moms from church delivered Greek food and cookies the day after Dani’s surgery. My friend Kristy had her sister leave a bag of goodies on our porch to keep Dani and the big girls busy. We are so loved!
Dani couldn’t walk for a few days after her surgery so I took her out in the stroller to enjoy the weather.
